5D JAKARTA + BANDUNG CITY ESCAPADES

Arrive in Jakarta and meet with tour guide and transfer to Bandung. Short stops will be made in between transit from Jakarta to Bandung which takes about 3-4hrs drive. Arrive Bandung and check-in hotel. If time permits, explore Bandung Chinatown. Stroll along Bandung’s famous Jeans Center at Jalan Cihampelas, one of the favorite streets to buy clothes, with many stores selling all kinds of crispy tidbits. If time permits, gather at Gedung Sate for photo-taking.

Commence tour by visiting POM Tahu Lembang. Continue to the legendary Tangkuban Perahu Crater, an active volcano and the only crater in Indonesia where you can drive up to its very rim for photo taking and hear on its legends story. On your return stop made at Ciater, the revitalizing hot spring, makes the most of nature’s rich rehabilitative resources, by pampering its guests in tranquil surroundings. Further up, if time permits, make a stop at an Instagram-able new photo spots “De Castello”, with an artistic Hand Bridge that’s built inspired by Golden Bridge Vietnam. Home to Indonesia’s many textile factories, the city of Bandung offers many factory outlets where shoppers regularly flock to, to find the latest trendy apparel at reasonable prices. You will find Factory outlets or distribution stores (known as Distros) dotting the main Dago Avenue, along Jalan Riau, or browse up to the fashion’s grocery center at Pasar Baru Trade Center.

About an hour drive from Bandung is Ciwidey Mountain Village, liaise on the southern highland with a magnificent crater lake “Kawah Putih (White Crater)” as an iconic photo spot. Kawah Putih lake is one of the two craters which make up Mount Patuha, an andesitic stratovolcano. Nearby is Ranca Upas, a laid-back lakefront campground with deer feeding attraction. If time permits you may opt for canoeing or explore it hot-springs pool and water playground (at your own cost). On your way down to Bandung a photo stop will also be made at the stunning Ciwidey Tea Plantation which lies beautifully in the hilly landscape, and experience strawberry picking from its plants in strawberry garden. Later, you will find Factory outlets or distribution stores (known as Distros) dotting the main Dago Avenue, along Jalan Riau as you are taken on the journey back to Bandung.

Morning departure from Bandung to Jakarta by coach. Explore Jakarta’s Old Town which includes a visit & photo taking at the Instagram able Fatahillah Square. Nearby is Kali Besar Old Quarter, that has a European atmosphere with Colonial Government Buildings and the Oldest Bridge in Jakarta. See the living museum of Sunda Kelapa Harbour where you can view colorful Phinisi Ships anchor that create a scenic view setting. If time permits, explore Glodog, the largest China Town in Southeast Asia which has the Oldest Chinese Temple. Continue journey South and visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, a park that is bringing Indonesian culture & nature to life via museums, gardens & replicas of famed sights. Time permit to have a short photo taking at the Jakarta’s Iconic National Monument.

Breakfast at hotel. Free at own leisure until check-out and transfer to Jakarta Intl Airport.
