4D3N Semporna Island Explorer With 1N Stay Shun Shun Water Bungalow (Snorkling)(SIC)

Upon arrival at Tawau Airport, you will be transferred directly to Semporna. The journey takes approximately 1-hour drive. Once reaching Semporna, check in to your accommodation and enjoy a free and easy time for the day. Rest for the night.

Meet at Semporna Jetty. You will travel to Bohey Dulang Island by speedboat, which takes roughly 30 minutes. Upon arrival, begin your ascent up the 353 m-long hike to the peak of the volcanic crater, where gorgeous vistas of the neighbouring islands and lush turquoise water await you. After the hike, have an early lunch break with a packed lunch. It’s time to get back on the boat to your next stop at Mantabuan Island for your first snorkeling session. Jump right into the clear blue waters where you may witness sightings of manta, devil and eagle rays as well as passing sea turtles. Continue to Sibuan Island, just next door, where you can relax and recharge on its sandy beach or enjoy a bit of snorkeling from the shoreline. Check with your guide about exploring the local Bajau Laut (‘Sea Gypsies’) village, where you can find fishermen selling fresh coconut juice. Return to Semporna town and rest.

Upon arrival, gear up and receive a swift briefing. Then, plunge into the snorkeling adventure within the crystalline tropical waters of Timba-Timba. Here, fortune may smile upon you with sightings of resting nurse sharks, barracudas, and mesmerizing eels. Enjoy your lunch break with a packed lunch. The next stop is Mataking Island, where you can enjoy some of Sabah’s best marine life, including large schooling fish and incredible macro life. Take a boat transfer to Shun Shun Water Bungalow, a luxurious retreat in the sea adjacent to Semporna District. This resort promises comfort and convenience, with 12 bungalow units, each equipped with its own attached bathroom.
